About The Position This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Technology professional. In this role the Data & Information Systems Manager will lead the Data Management Team in the provision of expert advice, technical services and support to research staff and students, including the design, development and support of database applications to effectively manage research data across the organisation.The position will provide expert advice on Menzies approach towards best practice research data governance and management, oversight and continuous improvement across data management activities to enhance capability, support strategic imperatives and enable the effective conduct of research.To support desired organisational outcomes, the position will develop, implement and monitor compliance with policies and procedures (transfer, confidentiality and privacy, storage, security, archival, disposal, access etc) including compliance with legislation, funding and other regulatory requirements.To ensure data collection platforms are fit for Menzies evolving research programs, the position will enable effective and reliable data management by provision of updates, access, and technical assistance across the organisation, including offline and offsite capabilities.By joining our team, you will be assisting Menzies to continue to translate its research into effective partnerships and programs in communities across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region with a commitment to finding enduring solutions to health problems that matter What we offerTotal salary package from $142,195 to $151,121 per annum (comprising a gross salary of $114,827 - $122,448)6 weeks annual leave, salary sacrifice and other market-leading conditions on offerOption to increase superannuation to 14%Work location: may be flexible depending on applicant (the role is ordinarily based in Darwin) Relocation assistance offered if relocating to work full-time in Darwin Closing date: 26 October 2021How to applySubmit your CV emphasising your relevant experience and a cover letter that highlights how you meet the requirements of the position.
