About the positionThe Development Events Officer will provide administrative assistance to the Menzies Development team to oversee and organize online events that will make an impact to a target audience. They will apply project management, marketing and promotion skills to ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. This position requires enthusiasm, fresh ideas and the organisational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.The successful applicant is required to have a tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Marketing, Hospitality Management or other related field with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training. They will also have proven experience organising events, executing a clearly defined project strategy, utilising various marketing techniques to secure event registrations and providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
