Are you passionate about supporting children and their families, working with community, and building your research skills through meaningful health research? If this sounds like you, join our team to help make a difference! The Child and Maternal Health Ear Health Pathogenesis, Prevention and Treatment Program needs a Program Manager to initiate and work across clinical trials and laboratory-based research projects involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families with a focus on ear health and other early life bacterial illness prevention and treatment.   The Role:Some of the key duties of this role include:Project initiation activities (including governance and agreements), multi-site coordination, staff supervision and training.Participant recruitment, follow-up visits in communities, clinical data, and specimen collection, conducting culturally sensitive clinical assessments.Project coordination with the Laboratory Team of the Child and Maternal Health Division. This position is based in Darwin and includes travel to remote communities by light aircraft or 4WD for participant recruitment, for up to three (3) days per trip and up to two (2) trips per month. Please see a full list of primary responsibilities and selection criteria in the Position Description. About you:As a motivated and community-focused health professional, you will have a strong interest in contributing to health research and improving outcomes for children.
