The Role:
Menzies School of Health Research has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Officer or Research Fellow to work within the Remote Health Systems and Climate Change Centre (RHC3) in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) to ensure the smooth running of research projects, and to bring about improvements in Aboriginal health in remote Australia.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct high quality research as a member of a multi-institutional research team, working with the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence for Strengthening Health Systems in Remote Australia (CRESTRA) to increase health workforce retention in remote communities.
They will also establish and maintain effective and respectful research partnerships with key stakeholders; be able to identify and synthesise existing relevant literature and be involved in professional activities including conferences, workshops and seminars translating research related to this project.
About you:
As a motivated individual, you will have exemplary verbal and written communication skills with advanced interpersonal skills and a proven track record in writing high quality reports.
