Teaching will focus on the recognition, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, with specific focus on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), appropriate use of antibiotics and the introduction of a blood culture service into the referral hospitals. About you:As a motivated individual, you will come with a distinguished record of mentoring and teaching skills, clinical knowledge and clinical practice experience.You also have:Registered Medical Practitioner status with specialist qualifications in Infectious Diseases or other evidence of postgraduate training in Infectious Diseases.Proven experience in similar roles including clinical education and mentoringDemonstrated understanding of the contribution of diagnostic microbiology services to clinical management of infectious diseases.Ability to contribute to research projects as requiredPlease see a full list of primary responsibilities and selection criteria in the position description.
