The project titled "Air in Alice: a community response to reduce future environmental risks’ is the first of its kind in Australia. The project will combine crowdsourced environmental data with data from fixed air quality and weather stations to create an environmental database for Alice Springs. The data collected at individual scale will include both environmental exposure and health symptom data providing the unique opportunity to conduct environmental health surveillance to reduce any future health risks.The RO/SRO will co-lead data collection from fixed environmental stations as well as facilitate data collection from participating citizen scientists.
